I am not sure why everyone is starting to rock the baldie look, but it is definitely everywhere now. Yes it can be a major fashion statement for an individual….a loud one too. Although the Baldies, half mullets, half mohawks, etc have been around for a very long time (from rockers to models one the runway) it is only now that everyone has been wearing them; well Britney (she was the first to start it), but Rihanna, Amber Rose, Cassie, and now Solange knowles.

I know it looks very rock and roll, edgy, “I dont care what people say” kind of hair cut… but is it for everyone???

yes MC Hammer… that is what they remind of, and just because of that I will not wear them. No, I am not trying to sabotage this trend, it actually does not look right on me, so an even better reason for me to hate on them. But some of my friends actually like them, and I can see how sporting it the right way could actually look good.

My Balmain Obsession Continued…

So today a much slimmer looking Beyonce Knowles was seen with her hubby Jay-Z, wearing a Balmain Studded waistcoat/vest, with shorts and strapped heels, very cute look on her….So since I just recently posted on Balmain in my last post, I had to post these pictures too.

The item costs $6,495 …yep 6 grand ( I know right that much for a waistcoat…) but once I find a similar item for less please be sure that I will post on it….

Balmain Spring Summer 2009, (my favorite piece)

I have been looking at the spring-summer 2009 Balmain collection for a minute now (that means for a while), and I have just fallen in luuuvv with the collection specifically the DRESSES and SKIRTS. It is a combo of Michael Jackson, Prince, Madonna, Rocker chic, yet modern, chic, edgy, and sexy all in one. and yes if I were as skinny as these models (even though I dont want to be) and I had enough mula or simply got free designer clothing like celebs do, I would sooo wear almost every piece of the collection. and if you can get your hands on these piece, it is definitely worth the investment. I have featured some of Balmain’s items as worn by Beyonce and Rihanna last month, but I have decided to post the actual runway show, so you can take a look for yourself….

I luv the collection (again the dresses and skirts), but do you???????????????
