Before I speak about the fashion show, I will mention that my feet had a good time walking in my new Zara shoes (from my aunt), they look good and they are comfortable, I walked a distance in them so if you like Zara and a different look, check them out at a Zara near you.
So Back to our regular schedule ;-) ………………
I just left a Fashion Show called “The Perfect Muse” by Gregory Fritz LaPlanche, at Morton on Boylston street (Boston). I met up with a classmate and an old friend from MiddleSchool/high school, ready to see some exciting fashion!!! The atmosphere was very intimate with not too too many people, which also meant that we got to see the pieces up close. After waiting for about half an hour, the show finally started. Most of the pieces were long dresses, mainly gowns in a soft pink almost nude color, with character. The dresses were feminine, romantic, and flattering to a woman’s body. They had soft ruffles/layering, interesting geometric and intricate forms, with a few black zippers and fuschia organza, satin, and lace elements. Overall, I liked the show I thought the designer did a good job, but I wish they were more pieces, also there were only a few dresses that I felt I wanted. I also loved the music which very ‘French’ with songs like Joe Le Taxi by Vanessa Paradis, it was like flashback to 90′s French pop music, loved it!! The only thing is I wish the designer actually came out to talk more about his inspiration and what he was trying to achieve, since I am assuming most of us are not familiar with him… He was so shy, he literally ran away while people were trying to drag him back into the show room. Funny!! and oh his brother (I’m guessing) or somebody who knew him, was a little obnoxious making funny comments and posing for the camera!! Too funny!!
Here are some of the pictures from the show, sorry folks if they are not excellent/clear pictures.

Oh I did not realize that the Painting was yours. Very Nice!!! I’m glad you like the pictures, even though I did not use a professional camera. I actually went to your show with a classmate, and we were hoping to interview you, that would be a great opportunity to feature your thoughts, so that people can read about it.
Merci encore, for stopping by!!
