Spanish and Barcelona-based Fashion Label MANGO is featuring Actress Penélope Cruz and her sister Moníca Cruz for their limited edition.  The sisters collection is inspired by Japanese style (Kimonos) and 70′s style with satins, red/black/white pieces.  MANGO has been working with both ladies since Winter 2008.  Those of you who don’t know, MANGO focuses on finding runway style/trend and recreating them into more affordable pieces for the everyday woman, a little bit like ZARA (another Spanish label although ZARA is a little more popular/preferred). Since Penélope Cruz won an OSCAR at the last OSCARs 2009 that went down not long ago, the campaign with Cruz for a Spring 2009 collection inspired by nature/urban Landscapes styles, will definitely get MANGO more attention this year

Some of the clothing features are nice, although NOT too special *disappointed*, however it is still worth checking it out at Mango.com or at a Mango shop in your city…Here are campaign pictures and features pieces from the current collection (click on pictures for larger view)

The collection is not too impressive, maybe trying the pieces on will give them LIFE.  Regardless I would still recommend Mango for shopping
